Delivery Policy & Method
This Delivery Policy forms part of the Terms & Conditions of Digital Language Company for Translation and Linguistic LLC (“Company”, “We”, “Us”) and applies to all Orders placed through www.tarjame.com or via approved communication channels.
By placing an Order, the Client agrees to this Delivery Policy.
1. Nature of Delivery
The Company provides digital translation and linguistic services. Deliverables are primarily supplied in electronic format unless physical delivery is specifically requested and agreed.
Delivery timelines commence only after:
- Order acceptance by the Company;
- Confirmation of full payment (unless otherwise agreed in writing); and
- Receipt of complete, legible, and final Client Materials.
2. Delivery Methods
2.1 Digital Delivery (Standard Method)
Unless otherwise agreed, Deliverables will be provided electronically via:
- Email; and/or
- Secure download link.
Digital formats may include:
- Microsoft Word (DOC/DOCX)
- Other agreed editable formats
Delivery is deemed completed when the email is successfully sent to the address provided by the Client or when the secure download link is issued.
The Client is responsible for:
- Providing an accurate email address;
- Checking spam/junk folders;
- Ensuring sufficient mailbox capacity.
2.2 Physical Delivery (If Requested)
Where physical copies (e.g., certified or notarised translations) are requested:
- Delivery will be made via courier or postal service;
- Additional shipping fees apply;
- Estimated delivery timelines depend on the courier provider and destination.
Risk of delay, loss, or damage during courier transit passes to the Client upon dispatch. The Company is not liable for courier-related delays beyond its reasonable control.
3. Estimated Turnaround Times
All delivery times displayed on the Website or stated in quotations are estimates only and do not constitute binding guarantees.
While the Company makes commercially reasonable efforts to meet estimated timelines, delays may occur due to:
- Incorrect or incomplete Client Materials;
- Inaccurate word counts;
- Illegible documents;
- Client-requested amendments after confirmation;
- High-volume periods;
- Technical failures;
- Courier delays;
- Force Majeure events.
Delivery time estimates begin once all required materials and confirmed instructions are received.
4. Urgent / Priority Services
Where an Order is marked as Urgent or Priority:
- Expedited turnaround applies as confirmed at the time of Order;
- Delivery priority is conditional upon timely cooperation by the Client.
Any delay caused by the Client may void expedited timelines without entitlement to refund of urgency surcharges.
5. Delivery Confirmation
Delivery is considered fulfilled when:
- Digital files are transmitted successfully; or
- Physical documents are handed to the courier provider.
The Company may retain proof of dispatch or transmission logs for evidentiary purposes.
6. Client Review Obligation
The Client must:
- Review Deliverables immediately upon receipt;
- Notify the Company of any material errors within 7 days of delivery.
Failure to raise concerns within this period constitutes deemed acceptance of the Deliverables.
Confirmed factual or translation errors will be corrected at no additional charge in accordance with the Terms & Conditions.
7. Delay Compensation
If a delay solely attributable to the Company exceeds 48 hours beyond the agreed delivery date, compensation shall be governed exclusively by Clause 6.2 of the Terms & Conditions.
8. Non-Acceptance by Authorities
The Company endeavours to provide accurate translations but does not guarantee acceptance by embassies, courts, immigration authorities, universities, or other institutions.
Delivery of a translation does not constitute assurance of institutional acceptance.
9. Force Majeure
Delivery obligations may be suspended without liability where performance is affected by Force Majeure as defined in the Terms & Conditions.
The Company remains entitled to payment for work completed prior to such event.
10. Data Security During Delivery
Digital files are transmitted using commercially reasonable security measures. However:
No electronic transmission system can guarantee absolute security.
Clients requesting additional encryption or password protection must notify the Company at the time of Order.
11. Incorrect Delivery Details
The Company is not responsible for:
- Errors in contact details provided by the Client;

- Delays resulting from unresponsive communication from the Client.
Re-delivery due to incorrect information may incur administrative charges.
