Frequently Asked Questions
Have questions? We have answers.
What type of files are acceptable?
You may send us a Microsoft Word (doc or docx), PDF (scanned or editable), or Picture (JPG or PNG) file. All text, signatures, and stamps should be clearly visible. Multiple files can be uploaded with your order.
How are translations certified?
For certified translations into English, we provide the translation on company letterhead, with a certification cover page, stamp, signature, and contact details, confirming it is a true and accurate translation.
Do you offer international and UK translation services?
Yes. We operate through a network of trusted associates and collaborators across several countries, including the United Kingdom, Europe, and the USA. Through our UK partners—members of the Association of Translation Companies—our certified translations are accepted by the Home Office, Passport Office, UK Visas, USCIS, and universities.
We also provide sworn, notarised, and legalised translations to meet the requirements of embassies and foreign authorities.
For accurate pricing based on your specific document, language pair, and deadline, please contact us and we will provide you with a tailored quote.
When will I receive my translation?
Most translations are completed within 48 hours for documents up to 8 pages or 2,000 words, with an additional working day added for each extra 8 pages.
We also offer faster services for an additional fee:
– Priority – 50% faster (from 24 hours) Urgent – 75% faster (from 12 hours)
Please note that delivery times apply to the digital copy only. Services such as postage, notarisation, or legalisation may require additional time. All timeframes are estimates and may vary depending on the document type, and we will keep you informed of any updates.
Do you certify translations for passport and visa applications?
Yes. Most of our certified translations are for visa, naturalisation, passport, or academic purposes, and we ensure they meet the required standards.
How will my certified translations be delivered?
By default, certified translations are delivered as a PDF via email, which can be printed and used. Physical copies can also be ordered and are posted within 24–48 hours.
Where are your translators based?
We work with translators worldwide. For English into other languages, we use native translators based locally or internationally. All translators sign NDAs and comply with strict confidentiality rules.
I have been asked to obtain a sworn translation
Sworn translations are required for official use in countries such as France, Spain, Italy, Poland, and the Czech Republic. We only use sworn translators authorised in those countries. Additional fees apply.
I have been asked to obtain a notarised translation
We provide notarised translations certified by a Notary Public, often required by foreign embassies or authorities. Notary fees are per document, and additional charges may apply.
I have been asked to obtain a legalised translation
Legalised translations confirm that a translation certified by a Notary Public is recognised by the Foreign Office. We can arrange same-day or standard legalisation services.
